TWIN
TWIN got its name because of two reasons. First of all I wanted to create an aesthetic sofa deep enough for two people to lay down next to each other. I’m a twin myself and in some way being a twin and furniture design have a lot in common. You always compare twins in one way or another, just as you always compare pieces of design. In both cases there will be similarities but it’s the details that separate and personalize them.
Twin is a transformation of emotions into a physical form. The idea was to make a sofa that is not a classic modular sofa, but a sofa that can still be disassembled and assembled with ease. TWIN is Amandas take on a new classic where function and aesthetics go into a higher unit.

Formel A
In 2019 Amanda designed the TWIN sofa for Formela. This was her first sofa design and her first design as a royalty designer and marked a very important shift for her in her career. The TWIN sofa is well known and is still one of peoples favorite sofa. With the TWIN sofa Amanda became a well known sofa designer and proved that she could make a modern classic. Since that Amanda has also designed the Mellizo sofa and lounge chair and the Magma sofa.
